allo. i did not write too much last week because james and i had lots of visitors. it was my smurfday last week 8/8. and i got to see my neener. she drove all the way up here all by herself and we got haircuts! and chocolates and had lots of fun. and then bethy and wendy and shane came up and we had birthday cake and went on lots of daytrips. we went to rhode island and new hampshire, and maine and around mass. and we got chocolates! shane discovered the addiction of starbucks and we had lots of fun. thanks for the birthday fun and lovin’ and for the well wishers who called and emailed. thanks. and james got me a super mini totoro! and chloe sang to me.
hello all. life this week consists of packing packing packing. i am sorting thru my entire life. its like erasing my past. kind of strange to get rid of everything i have collected through life and travels and encounters. i decided the things i am really still in love with ( like my pencil case collection) i will just take a photo of . and keep a photo on my computer. so if i miss these things i can see them but not have to drag my life across the globe. my buddies who adopted things ROCK. it seems much easier to loan out items indefinitely then to know i will never see them again. mikey and maria adopted a zillion cassette tapes. ( i know but c’mon ) and jeannine and chris as usual are keepers of my art works. several people will put art supplies to good use: wendybird, emma kate, bethy, little chloe, jeannine. and john wojick (sp) babysitting my other precious items: my viynl collection and james’ too. wow. and james’ dad and beth and aunt kathy will be storage depot. you guys all ROCK for making our international transition posible. so the sorting and trashing and donating continues. how boring, i wonder if it is more or less boring to read about packing than to actually do it. you can get a thrill from finding a ticket stub from 15 years ago or a love note. that part if fun, but then you have to decide what to do with them.
